Reopening Update

Dear parishioners, we are in phase 3 of reopening and thus our parish is back to a normal schedule.

I wanted to inform everyone that we are offering masses during the week and during the weekend as before. Yet, there are some restrictions, such as, a maximum of 50 people in the Church and everyone needs to wear a mask. There is also disinfectant as you enter and leave the Church. The offering basket will not be passed around and it will be placed in the rear of the sanctuary. This is all in effect to help stop the spread of disease. We also wanted to inform you that we have professionally added filters to our air conditioning and heating unit so that there is no spread of virus’ in the air. Special UV light is used similarly as is used in hospitals. We wanted to thank all the parishioners who helped with this installation. I wanted to include the number of people who attended masses the past two weeks.

Saturday June 27 5:30 - 13 people. Sunday June 28 9:30 - 39 people. 11:00 - 50 people

Saturday July 4 5:30 - 11 people. Sunday July 5 9:30 - 37 people. 11:00 - 32 people

As we can see the least amount of people attend the Sunday vigil and 9:30 am mass. Although it is a difficult time, our Church is supporting that we create a place of common worship as was present in our Churches prior to the pandemic. If the number of people attending these masses does increase, our Church will implement more Sunday masses.

Similarly, we will be using the AC more often to help stop the spread of disease and thus costs will go up. We ask to consider this when offering to our parish.

Also, we have a somber message as our organist, Paulina Raczkowska has decided to return to Poland. We thank her for her work at our parish. Until we find a new organist, we ask for your patience and if anyone knows of an organist, please reach out.

We also wanted to thank everyone who sent their donations during the pandemic in the mail. It helped our parish. God Bless everyone who is supporting our parish.
